Retail Space

2025

Amoure, an Atlanta-based clothing brand, invited us to build a series of fixtures to define their retail identity. While they had already drawn much of the millwork, we collaborated to fine-tune details, proportions, and functions. The fixtures needed to reflect the refinement of their garments while allowing the notably small space to remain adaptable. Our design approach emphasized restraint—clean lines, natural finishes, and a minimal palette that created a quiet backdrop for the clothing itself.

Early conversations focused on circulation and how fixtures could choreograph movement through the store while offering discreet storage. Scale was a critical factor: even slight adjustments in height or proportion shifted the sense of openness. Using Rhino, we tested multiple arrangements and paired them with client feedback to balance display capacity with a sense of spaciousness.

As the pieces came together, surface quality and proportion guided the build. Installation required careful adjustments in placement to align sightlines and reinforce rhythm through the space. The process felt like tuning an instrument—subtle shifts that transformed the overall composition and atmosphere.

The finished store reads as a calm, purposeful interior, with fixtures that act as quiet frames for the clothing. The project underscored how interiors depend on proportion and restraint, and how furniture, when thoughtfully integrated, becomes a seamless extension of spatial identity
